Ferriol Soria is Instrategies' Manager. He is also Managing Director of the Ernest Lluch Foundation. He has developed his career in international cooperation projects in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the MEDA countries, but also at local level, working for city councils and Catalan public administrations. As a result of his academic expertise in the field of transitional justice, has published articles in various magazines specifically about the transition process in South Africa.

Doctor cum laude in History from the University Pompeu Fabra, with the thesis The Truth Commissions. A factor of social transformation in communities in conflict: the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) South Africa, he holds a degree on Economics from the UPF and a Master in Political and Social Sciences (IDEC - Johns Hopkins University).

He is currently Professor of the Master in Contemporary History and Contemporary World (University of Barcelona - Open University of Catalonia) and tutor of the Bachelor of Business Administration from the UOC.

He is Trustee in the Artur Martorell Foundation and member of the African Studies Centre in Barcelona.
