Organized by the Conference of Peripheral and Maritime Regions (CPMR) and the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) in the framework of the 10th Plenary Session of the Euro-Mediterranean Regional & Local Assembly (ARLEM), with the support of European Committee of the Regions (CoR), the workshop aimed to promote a better understanding of the role and the added value of Local and Regional Authorities (LRAs) in migration policies.
Gemma Pinyol-Jiménez participates in the side event as CPMR expert consultant on migration to introduce the different issue papers prepared by the CPMR Task Force on Migration on the role of Regional authorities in tackling migration and asylum questions, in both internal (welcome & integration) and external (cooperation) dimensions.
