Gemma Pinyol-Jiménez, Head of Migration Policies andDiversity at Instrategies, contributes to the EuroMedMig Paper 3: The new EU Pact and its impact on migration governance in the Mediterranean: Continuity or rupture?. Her chapter, “The new Pact on Migration and Asylum: a proposal on (maritime) border control” is a written contribution following the webinar “Is the new EU Pact a change of paradigm for Mediterranean Migration Governance?” organized on December 15th, 2020 by GRITIM-UPF in the framework of the EuroMedMig platform (an Imiscoe regional Network) in collaboration with ACSAR Foundation.
