Gemma Pinyol-Jiménez participates in the Migration and Gender webinar by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe

On 3 June Gemma Pinyol, Head of Migration Policies and Diversity at Instrategies participated in the migration and gender seminar promoted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The webinar was organized by the PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons, the PACE Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination and the Parliamentary Network Women Free from Violence.
The webinar was focus on the need to provide gender-specific migration systems and the challenges this represents, both in devising policies which ensure equal treatment and access to protection and rights, and in ensuring that these policies are implemented adequately on the ground, while ensuring migrant women’s involvement in decision-making processes.
